I have been privileged to enjoy long term chiropractic care from a young age yet am still in awe at the benefits I and others have received from chiropractic care.
In my personal life I have seen how chiropractic plays a major role in assisting easy/trouble free pregnancy and labour, also the benefits infants receive with treatment of conditions such as colic & reflux.
I am truly passionate regarding the importance of ensuring our children start life with a strong foundation. Chiropractic helps to ensure these little people grow and develop to their full potential. This passion has been amplified with the birth of my daughter Lila in 2010.
I also have an interested in animal chiropractic and regularly adjust my two fur-kids (dogs) “George” and “Winston”. Both fur-kids are now 11 and are quite often mistaken for puppies while they literally run circles around dogs half their age. The vet cannot believe their mobility/activity for dogs their age.
The multi-faceted approach that chiropractic provides helps patients enjoy benefits permeating through all aspects of their lives that I have not seen elsewhere.
The results Chiropractic provides, combined with the care I have received from Dr Justin Mazzucchelli , Dr Simon Carlin and the inspiration and guidance & care from my father-in-law Dr John Longbottom compelled me to make my “vacation my vocation” and join this amazing profession.
Throughout my career I have continually sought out the best techniques that ensure that my patients receive maximum benefit. These techniques include Applied Kinesiology, Neuro Emotional Technique, Neural Organisational Technique, Sacro-Occipital Technique, and Webster’s Technique (Pregnancy Chiropractic).
In 2008 I took part in the organisation and carrying out of “Hands on India”, a volunteer effort to provide Chiropractic and Health care to under privileged communities in West Bengal, North East India. This experience gave me a greater depth and appreciation of how chiropractic can greatly assist in some of the most extreme situations. I look forward to participating in this worthy cause again.
