Dr Jason Alach

When I was young, a close relative had chronic digestive complaints that completely resolved after chiropractic care.  That set the seed in my mind to eventually follow the Chiropractic path.

My 5 year Chiropractic degree was completed at Murdoch University, Perth. I also completed a 3 year Bachelor of Science in Human biology with a minor in nutrition.  Prior to joining the team at the Karrinyup Wellness Centre I previously practised at Joondalup Chiropractic for 3 years.

I was drawn to Chiropractic as a career due to it being a safe, natural, non-invasive method to restore health. I love working with the body’s innate ability to heal itself. I have always been interested in healthy living, nutrition and how to be as healthy as possible. An optimally functioning spine and nervous system is a key aspect in achieving optimal health. I love to see peoples lives change for the better, with chiropractic care and healthy lifestyle modifications. It makes my job fulfilling.

My other passions include surfing, playing guitar, writing music, organic vegetable growing and most of all spending quality family time with my wife, Helen and little girl Claudia.

I have training in multiple chiropractic techniques including Sacro-Occipital Technique, Neuro- organisational technique, Applied Kinesiology, Activator, Gonstead, Thompson and diversified techniques.  I have specialised training in pregnancy chiropractic (Webster Technique), homeopathy and nutrition.  Since the birth of my daughter I have taken a special interest in Paediatric Chiropractic.

I enjoy attending seminars as I always walk away learning something and feeling inspired. The more you learn the more you realise how amazing the human body is.

I have my spine checked regularly, and also check my family’s spines often.  Its incredible how much better you feel when your spine and nervous system is functioning correctly.

Enough about me, I look forward to taking over from Dr Peter Cockram and meeting you, and wish him well in his new endeavours.
